Welcome to Finland’s national foresight network!

The Foresight.fi site was born out of our quest to bring the latest foresight cooperation and topical events within your reach. This may not be the first time that you come across Foresight.fi, for it has existed before. On this reopened website, you will now find out what is going on in Finland’s national foresight network, who the contributors are, and how you can get involved. The new website has what you need to start quenching your thirst for foresight and futures consciousness: blog posts, podcasts and also a range of training sessions and foresight tools.

We are determined to strengthen cooperation between national foresight actors, and achieving it would not be possible without our active network. To ensure a smoother exchange of information, we are now launching new approaches to network cooperation: a newsletter and more active dialogue with foresight producers and interested parties.

Delivered to all foresight network users who register as subscribers, our newsletter is designed to bring the latest foresight news to you. As the newsletter is meant work both ways, we welcome active input from the network for the purpose of raising topical issues. This is to ensure that our news forum will be as broad-based and as diversified as possible. Please share to us your own foresight news, upcoming events or published articles on this form or, alternatively, by email to kev@vnk.fi. We welcome any wishes and suggestions concerning the content of Foresight.fi to help us develop it into even more diversified website.

The mission of the national foresight network is to stir up debate on the new challenges and opportunities that Finnish society is facing. With this goal in mind, we welcome you to visit our new website and, above all, to join in foresight cooperation!
